Moscow scares again: hybrid war against Russia is fraught with nuclear conflict

A hybrid war against Russia is fraught with nuclear conflict, which cannot be winners. This, as Russian media writes, said Deputy Director for the Department for Non-Proliferation and Control of Arms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Vishnevetsky, speaking on Tuesday at the UN headquarters in the New York at the conference of the countries of the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (Day).

“a gross violation of the principle of equal and indivisible security as a result of the harmful expansion of the military unit of countries claiming to be a non -detailed military -strategic and geopolitical dominance provoked an acute crisis in the center of Europe,” Vishnevetsky said. According to him, “against Russia, forced to defend its legal right to ensure the indigenous interests of security, is unleashed by a hybrid military campaign, fraught with a sliding to a direct armed conflict between nuclear powers.”

“Russia is invariably committed to a noble purpose to build a world free of nuclear weapons,” Vishnevetsky pointed out, noting that the Russian Federation fulfills “fully its international obligations, including under the article of the sixth day.”
