Moscow will tell Poland protest due to an incident with Russian diplomats

The Russian Foreign Ministry will declare a decisive protest in connection with the breakdown of the Victory Day in Warsaw on May 9. This is stated in the message of the Russian foreign policy.

“Poland Foreign Affairs was obviously informed about the planned embassy of the ceremony, but the Polish authorities did not prevent the provocative actions of” protesters. “The Polish side will be declared a decisive protest,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The department noted that Moscow considers the incident in Warsaw as another unfriendly manifestation from the Polish side.

The Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreev could not lay flowers in the memorial cemetery of Soviet soldiers in Warsaw due to the intervention of Ukrainian citizens. A crowd chanded anti -war slogans met at the cemetery of the Russian diplomat. Andreev had to leave the wreath without reaching the memorial.

The Euromaidan-Warsaw group, consisting of Ukrainian and Polish activists, previously reported the organization of the action with condemnation of Russia’s aggression.

In Poland, there are more than 2 million Ukrainians who left the country due to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
