According to BBI, Musk is now worth $ 174 billion. It remains in second place after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose net worth is $ 180 billion. Over the past day, Bezos’s fortune has grown by $ 5.95 billion.
In early January, Musk came out on top in the BBI’s list of the richest people in the world, beating Bezos, but in February he returned to second.
