“America will support Ukraine until the victory is won,” Pelosi said on Sunday after a visit to Ukraine.
Pelosi noted that she was touched by a meeting with the President of Ukraine, calling Zelensky “brilliant”.
She said that she began a meeting with Zelensky with the quoting of the American revolutionary Thomas Payne. “Time found us,” he wrote in 1776. “We believe that the time of Ukraine has come,” Pelosi said. This struggle, she added, will help maintain democracy all over the world.
