An unusual object, which fell on March 8 on the roof of one of the houses in Florida, is a “cosmic garbage” from the International Space Station (ISS). This was reported in the National Directorate for Aeronautics and Study of the US space (NASA).
In the NASA statement, it was reminded that an object weighing 700 grams fell to the roof of the house Alejandro Otro.
The object in question is identified as an element of attachment of a pallet for batteries with an ISS, which has been moving to the orbit of the Earth since 2021, NASA reported.
Elements of the battery block should completely burn at the entrance to the atmosphere. An object weighing 700 grams is located in the Kennedy space center for analysis, – added to NASA.
Meanwhile, a resident of the state of Florida Alehandro Otro said that the subject, which is “cosmic garbage”, sewed his house through the roof to the floor of the first floor, and also expressed satisfaction that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
