Natig Mammadov was appointed chairman of Caspian Energy Georgia. This was announced by the chairman and chief executive director of Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev.
According to Telman Aliyev, Natig Mammadov will represent the interests of Caspian Energy Club and manage the activities of the club in Georgia.
“Natig Mammadov has been successfully managing the business in several countries, including Georgia. The club’s board has opted for the candidacy of Natig Mammadov, based on his active business position and wide relations with the state and private sectors of Georgia” , – said Telman Aliyev.
In turn, Natig Mammadov thanked the highest leadership of Caspian Energy Club for his high trust, noting that he would actively participate in the further expansion of non-hostile between entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and Georgia, as well as in the development of trade and economic relations between two countries. Natig Mammadov also expressed gratitude to his predecessor Zaur Darabzade, who put a very high bar during his management of the Caspian Energy Georgia office, having organized a large number of business tours and bilateral meetings, in which Azerbaijani and Georgian companies had the opportunity to cooperate closely.
“I am sure that our team will be able to continue working at a given pace,” N. Mamedov noted. He also said that his appointment coincided with the active phase of the organization of the International Caspian Energy Forum Tbilisi-2023, which will be held on February 28. The main themes of Caspian Energy Forum Tbilisi-2023 will be the economic model of Georgia’s development (tourism, logistics, agrarian industry, real estate and SEZ), the development of the median corridor, digital economics, green energy and cooperation with the economic union of Turkic-speaking states.
Representatives of public structures, ministries, stateite, diplomatic and international missions accredited in Georgia, top managers of private companies in the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic Regions will take part in the forum.
