The Turkish team in the martial art of Savat “Stars and Junior” continues to prepare for the World Cup, which will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent from July 23 to 27.
Turkish athletes are preparing for the upcoming competitions with colleagues from Azerbaijan.
The Turkish national team includes 27 athletes (11 women and 16 men). The team of Azerbaijan includes 8 athletes.
Intensible fees are held in the training center “Hamide Bychkin” in Chankir.
In an interview with an ANADOL agency correspondent, the coach of the Turkish national team of Ekreywan said that he has been engaged in military sports for 27 years.
“During the preparatory fees, we improve the technique and increase the level of physical training. Our goal is to win at least 10 gold medals in international competitions,” he said.
The agency’s interlocutor also noted the successful performance of the Turkish national team at the Savate Combat World Cup, which was held in Bulgaria from July 2 to 6.
The mentor of the Azerbaijani national team Taleh Nagizade, in turn, expressed confidence that Azerbaijani and Turkish athletes at the upcoming World Cup “will demonstrate the force born in unity.”
