NATO support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova, it can count on the help of the alliance. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic in the headquarters of the Alliance in Brussels.
Stoltenberg noted that NATO and Moldova have been working on for more than 30 years and have recently deepened their partnership.
According to NATO Secretary General, Russia increases its pressure on Moldova, especially in the field of energy and misinformation, and also tries to undermine stability and cause damage to democracy.

Secretary General emphasized that NATO fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova. “We urge Russia to withdraw its troops from the territory of Moldova. Moldova can count on our help,” he assured.
Stoltenberg recalled that this year NATO adopted a large package of support for assistance to Moldova in strengthening her cyber protection, strategic communications, as well as increasing its defense potential.
Political cooperation with Chisinau will be expanded, which will also support the process of Moldova’s entry into the EU, the Secretary General added.
In turn, the Prime Minister of Moldova noted his country’s desire to increase the defense potential, and also thanked NATO and its allies for supported in this matter. “We want to take part in international missions and exercises.
