The North Atlantic Alliance does not fight with Russia in Ukraine, the supply of Western weapons and financial assistance from the EU and the USA are not a sign of this status, said the chairman of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer in an interview with Estonian Err.
The admiral emphasized that the situation may change in the event of an attack on a member of the defense block. According to him, in this case, the Alliance intends to “protect every naad of the territory” of his ally.
Bauer also added that the outcome of the conflict with Russia depends only on Ukraine itself, and only the preservation of Ukrainian sovereignty is the primary task of such support.
