NATO thanks Turkey for its efforts, which led to the continuation of the grain transaction, calls for “extend and expand” this transaction, and also highly appreciates the supply of the latest weapons to Ukraine. This was stated on Thursday by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu.
“I expressed gratitude to President Erdogan and the Turkish government, thanks to which the grain initiative earned again. If this grain had not hit the markets, food prices would have grown, and millions of people would suffer from this. NATO calls for extending and expanding this initiative , – the Russian media cite the words of Stoltenberg. “We are also grateful to Turkey for the supply of the latest weapons to Ukraine, assistance in the exchange of prisoners and other diplomatic efforts.”
