In the prosecutor’s office of the city of Shirvana, an investigation was conducted on the death of a newborn child, a resident of the Saborybad district, Elnura Benitova, born on August 8, 2022 in the Shirvan Central City Hospital.
According to the Shirvan city prosecutor’s office, during the investigation it was found that the obstetrician-gynecologist Farganov, who led the process of childbirth, showed negligence, dishonesty and indifference to his work, as a result of which the newborn died.
In this regard, a criminal case has been instituted in the Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Shirvan under Article 314.2 of the Criminal Code (negligence, which entailed by negligence the death of the victim or other serious consequences). In relation to Fargana Gadirova, attracted under the specified article of the Criminal Code as the accused, a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription was elected.
