Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed at a meeting on Thursday in Moscow with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia by Aroi Aivazhenian Humanitarian and Economic Issues related to Nagorno-Karabakh.
The sides discussed the implementation of the agreements by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021. Particular attention was paid to current issues of humanitarian response in Nagorno-Karabakh, unlocking economic and transport links in the region, “the report says Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The ministers also exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including contacts at the highest and high levels, preparations for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. “Considered certain topics of the International Agenda, representing mutual interest,” indicated the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier on Thursday of Lavrov also on the fields of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS in Moscow held a meeting with Azerbaijani counterpart Jayhun Bayramov.
