Netherlands Senator became head of PACE

Netherlands Senator Tini Coke was elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the next year, TASS reports.

According to information, the voting results were announced at the first meeting of the PACE winter session in Strasbourg, the broadcast of which is conducted by the press service of the organization.

164 deputies of the Assembly voted for the Netherlands Senator. The only rival of coke in these elections is the head of the Ukrainian delegation in PACE, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the Presidential Party “servant of the people” Maria Mezentseva received 80 votes.
