The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population today provided the families of Shekhid and disabled people, disabled victims and graduates of state children’s institutions Another 50 apartments in new residential complexes in the Apcheron district, Raman and Khodjasan towns of Baku.

Deputy Minister spoke about the victory of the Azerbaijani army in the 44th day war under the leadership of the President, the Supreme Commander of Ilham Aliyev. He noted the conduct of large-scale measures to support the families of shekhid and veterans in the post-war period. Kerimov stressed that 31 thousand members of the families of Shekhid and veterans, as well as victims of the Armenian terror, was supported by 39 thousand directions.
Deputy Minister noted that since the beginning of this year, the size of social payments to the families of shekhid and disabled people were significantly increased, reported that over the past period, about 11 thousand members of the family of Shekhid and disabled wars were provided by housing through the Ministry of Labor and the social protection of the population. According to the presidential decree, 20,000 apartments and private houses will be transferred to these categories in 2021-2025. Only in 2021 3 thousand apartments and private houses will be provided.
Kerimov also said that this year about 1,750 apartments have already been granted to the families of the shekhid and disabled people, and that families of the heroes and shekhids of the Patriotic War, disabled people, graduates of state children’s institutions are provided with housing.
In general, this year, the ministry provided accommodation more than 2 thousand people, including the apartments provided today.
Senior Sergeant retired, National hero, Ibad Huseynov stressed that the provision of apartments to the families of Shekhid and disabled people – another manifestation of special concerns about them.
Citizens provided by housing, thanked President Ilham Aliyev for improving their social and living conditions and providing them with new apartments.
