On January 18, the opening of the new building of the selected border division “Gubadli” of the border troops of the State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan (GPS) was held, HAQQIN.AZ was told in the press service of the GPS.
According to information, the Deputy Head of the GPS – the Commander of the Border Guards, Lieutenant-General Araz Mamedov reported to the head of the Service General Polician Elchin Guliyev on the readiness of the building to the opening. E.Guliev congratulated the personnel with this significant event.
At the opening ceremony, it was noted that in accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the necessary infrastructure for border defense and security was created on the liberated territories, consecutive measures to improve the conditions of service and social security of military personnel. During the past year, 19 new military units were built in Jabrailsky, Zanginsky, Gubadlinsky and Lachinsky districts, more than 100 border and combat items have begun service-combat activities.
GPS management got acquainted with the conditions in the headquarters building. The monument, erected before the administrative building in memory of the military personnel of the GPS, who died in the Patriotic War was assigned flowers.
In the framework of the event with a military personnel of real military service, participating in the Patriotic War in the Gaps, which adequately completed military service and enrolled in the reserve of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan was awarded the medals established by the order of President Ilham Aliyev for the difference in the liberation of Fizulinsky, Jabrailsky, Zanginsky and Gubadlinsky districts .
