The new Prime Minister of Italy George Melony wrote on her Twitter about her readiness to work closely with NATO.
“is ready to work with NATO, which is more than a military alliance: a stronghold of common values that we will never stop defending,” she wrote, responding to the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg.
On October 21, George Melony became the first woman-prime minister of Italy and received a mandate for the formation of the government of the country. On October 22, she was oath as the new Prime Minister of Italy.
