New page in relations of Turkey and Emirates: Erdogan in Abu Dhabi

In the presidential palace “Casre Al-Vathan” in Abu Dhabi on Monday, a ceremony of the official meeting of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was held on Monday. Anadolu reports that the head of the Turkish state in the residence met the Crown Prince Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zaid al Nahayan.

After the meeting ceremony, negotiations began in a narrow format. According to the results of the negotiations of the President of Turkey and the Crown Prince Abu Dhabi, 12 documents are planned.

The program of the President of Erdogan also includes a visit to the World Exhibition Dubai Expo, where on Tuesday February 15 will be the national day of Turkey.

Turkish media remind that the relationship between Turkey and the UAE seriously suffered after the blockade of Qatar under the leadership of Saudi Arabia by the Arab countries, including the UAE, which continued from mid-2017 until the beginning of last year. Qatar is one of the closest allies of Ankara. Last month, the Crown Prince Abu Dhabi visited Ankara, having committed the first official trip to Turkey since 2012 and a visit at the highest level of the official representative of the Emirates in recent years.
