Sunday, March 13, the new Armenian President Vaagn Khachaturian brought the oath and took office during a special meeting of the National Assembly.
“Joining the position of President of the Republic, I swear: to be the faithful Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, in the exercise of its authority to be impartial, guided only by national and national interests and invest all their strength in the work of strengthening national unity,” -, – the new president gave an oath republic.
These words of Khachatryan said, putting his hand on a special copy of the Constitution of Armenia and the Gospel of Our Lady.
