Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan and Main Department of Youth and Sport Baku From January 10 to January 16, the Azerbaijani Championship among adults organized an Azerbaijani Center for the Boxing Center. In the championship competed 100 athletes from 29 teams in 13 weight categories.
Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Reporting that the Boxing Ministry of Emergency Situations under the guidance of an employee of the Ilkina Agayev sports club has achieved high results in competitions. So, a team member in the weight category 86 kg Eldar Guliyev won the gold medal, bypassing all his rivals, another team member in the weight category 51 kg Nijat Abidov won the bronze medal. The winners were awarded diplomas and medals of the Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan and Youth and Sports Management Baku.
The winners of the competition will be attracted to the Azerbaijani national team on boxing.
On January 14-16, 2022, an open tournament in the Masally District among adolescents in the free and Greco-Roman struggle was organized on the Azerbaijani Olympic Sports Complex of Azerbaijan’s Olympic Sports Complex. The team of 4 fighters of the Emermination Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations under the guidance of an employee of the Elmira Gambarov club took part in the competitions, which were held in two age groups with about 750 athletes from 40 teams. A member of the team in the weight category 60 kg Nihad Askerov won the bronze medal in the competitions among young men. Winners were awarded diplomas and medals of the Federation of Azerbaijan.
January 14-16, 2022, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan on the Sports Arena of the Sports Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the village of Govsan organized the Azerbaijani Championship for Judo among young men and girls U-18. About 520 athletes from 41 teams took part in the competition. High results at the tournament showed a team of Judo of the Emergencies Ministry of the Ministry of Emergency Situations under the leadership of the Farida Agakišiyev club. So, among the girls athlete club in the weight category 52 kg Fidan Gasymova managed to defeat all his rivals and climb the highest step of the pedestal.
