New virus massively affects children in India

In India, a new virus called “Tomato flu” was found. According to Express, since May 6, more than 80 cases of infection were revealed in the country, mainly among young children.

The virus is also called “tomato fever” due to the red color of the rash that it causes. Patients also complain of fatigue, joint pain and abdomen, nausea, vomiting, cough and fever. In some cases, the color of the limbs also changes.

According to doctors, Tomato flu can be a new variety of foot and mouth disease, which is highly contagious and often affects children under the age of five.
