Azercell Telecom, which marked the 25th anniversary of its activities, from the first years of existence formed a large charitable team from the company’s employees called “Azercell volunteers”. This year, as in previous years, Azercell volunteers held another charitable campaign for children on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of the Azerbaijanis of the World and New Year.
As part of the “New Year with gifts from volunteers”, they visited the family of Shekhid and veterans of the second Karabakh war, as well as low-income families and pleased their children with various gifts.
The action was announced in advance in the Azercell volunteers accounts in social networks. During the month, with the support of partners and individuals who acceded to the initiative, gifts were prepared for children whose families belong to the most vulnerable groups of the population.
Campaign “New Year with Gifts from Volunteers” covered many regions of Azerbaijan. Along with Baku, volunteers visited the family of shechids and veterans living in Sumgait, Khodjasan, Hyrdalan, Saraj, Ganja, Barde, Fizuli, Oguz, Shemké, Lankaran, Shirvan, Sabobad, Mingachevir, Gabal, Sheki, Geranby and Naftalane. In general, on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of the Azerbaijanis of Peace and New Year, festive gifts were awarded about 200 children of different age categories.
Similar shares on the occasion of the holiday were carried out by volunteers and in previous years. The team “Azercell volunteers”, which promotes the development of traditions of charity in our country, expresses gratitude to partners and their subscribers in social networks that support this movement, and calls everyone to show solidarity and future initiatives.
