17 people died as a result of an armed attack in the state of a plateau in Nigeria.
The representative of the special military operational group, Captain Ola James, said that unknown militants who arrived in the Barkin Ladi area openly in the morning, opened a random fire.
According to him, 17 people were killed as a result of the attack, and dozens of inhabitants were injured.
Additional army forces arrived in the region. James said the situation is under control.
