More than 150 people missing after tipping overloaded boats, on board which was about 180 passengers, on the Niger River in the north-western part of Nigeria, are considered dead. This is reported by Agence France-Presse with reference to the statement of local authorities.
“At the moment, only 20 people are found alive, four dead, the remaining 156 missing are considered to be drowned,” said the reporters of the Waterway Management of Yusuf Burma.
