Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dedicated Her Award To Trump

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, who became a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, dedicated her award to US President Donald Trump.

Speaking at a press conference at the White House, Trump announced a telephone conversation with Machado.

The American leader emphasized that during the conversation she had behave extremely kindly. “Today a Nobel laureate called me and said, ‘I accept this prize in your honor because you really deserve it,’” he said.

“It was really very nice. “I didn’t tell her ‘then give it to me,’ but I think she could do it,” the US President added.

“I dedicate this award to the people of Venezuela and Trump.”

Machado previously said on the social network of the American company X that her award is a tribute to the struggle of the Venezuelans.

She noted that trusts Trump and the American people as its greatest allies in the fight for freedom and democracy.

“I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to Trump for his strong support of our cause,” Machado wrote.

The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Maria Corina Machado for her fight in defense of democratic rights in Venezuela.
