Nokia asked for permission from United States to trade with Russia

The Finnish Transnational Company Nokia asks the US Industry and Safety Bureau (BIS) and the Finland Foreign Ministry to issue a license for the supply of telecommunication equipment to Russia, Russian media reported.

We are talking about the supply of spare parts necessary to maintain the normal functioning of existing networks for three years.

The company wants to fulfill obligations under previously concluded contracts. The Finns resolution is required due to the fact that part of the patents belongs to the American company Alcatel-Lucent.
