North Korea announced outbreak of an unknown disease

Immediately after the Covid-19 wave, North Korea faced an epidemic of unknown intestinal disease, which broke out in the province of South Hwanhe, reports CNN.

According to information, today through sources in South Korean intelligence it is known that about 800 families have been infected with the disease, which Pyongyang now calls the “acute intestinal epidemic.” This disease affects the cavity of the gastrointestinal tract and, according to officials in South Korea, resembles cholera or abdominal typhoid.
