North Korea Receives Free Vaccine

North Korea will receive about 1.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines produced by AstraZeneca as part of WHO’s COVAX program to help poor countries. This will be enough to vaccinate about 852 thousand people. Deutsche Welle reports.

Pyongyang did not report any cases of infection, but since the beginning of 2020, the DPRK has taken tough antiviral measures and closed borders.
