A deputy from the Party of Justice and Development (PSR) from Istanbul Numan Kurtulmush was again elected chairman of the great National Assembly of Turkey (VSST) following the third round of voting, receiving 329 votes out of 529.
According to the data voiced at the General Assembly, 329 deputies voted for Kurtulmush, for a candidate from the Republican People’s Party (RNP) Ugure Bayractetan – 118, from the Party of Democracy of Peoples (DEM) Osman Jengiz Chandar – 18, from the party ̇YYİ – Mustafa Dzhikhan Pachadzhi – 26, dated. The Yeni Yol parties – Mehmeta Karaman – also 26. One ballot was left empty, 11 were invalid.
Thus, Kurtulmush overcame the necessary threshold of 301 votes and was re -elected chairman of the parliament.
The spouse of Kurtulmush Sevgi Kurtulmush and members of his family watched the voting process from the lodge of the General Assembly and his family.
