Migrants in the first six months of 2023 committed more than 22 thousand crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation, which is 6.3 percent more than in the same period of 2022.
According to TASS, this follows from the materials of the statistics of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation committed 22.4 thousand crimes, which is 6.3 percent more than in January – June 2022,” the document said.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 18.4 thousand crimes were committed by citizens of the CIS countries, which is 6.5 percent more than a year earlier. In relation to foreign citizens and stateless persons, 6.9 thousand crimes were committed, which is 14.2 percent less than in the same period of 2022.
