Number of dead in armed clashes in Sudan increased to 56

In Sudan, as a result of armed clashes between the army and the quick response forces (SBR), 56 civilians were killed per day, another 595 people, including the military, suffered.

According to the Central Committee of the doctors of Sudan, clashes occurred in the capital of the country, Hartum and a number of other cities of the East African country.

The committee called for common sense and immediate termination of conflicts that have claimed the lives of innocent civilians, the release of detainees and in a difficult situation, as well as to open safe corridors to provide first aid to the wounded.

Disagreements regarding the reform of military security, which provides for the complete integration of the SBR into the armed forces, resulted in a hot conflict between two power structures.
