The number of detainees during the mass riots in France, which arose due to the murder of the police of a 17-year-old teenager, reached 1 thousand people. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Gerald Darmanen on the air of the TF1 television channel.
According to him, the authorities intend to use 45 thousand police and gendarmes on the night of July 1 in order to ensure the protection of order.
The minister also ordered the use of French special forces, including the special forces of the gendarmerie.
