The number of Internet users in China reached 1 billion 90 million in 2023.
According to the annual statistical report on the Internet published by the Chinese information center of the Internet network (CNNIC), in 2023 the number of online users increased by 24 million 800 thousand people compared to the previous year.
While the number of Internet users in the country reached 1 billion 90 million, or 77.5 percent of the population of China.
As a result of this, the number of people using online services also increased. The number of people who use the services of a mobile taxi annually increases by 20.7 percent, online traveling services by 20.4 percent, and health care services – by 14.2 percent.
In 2023, 3 million 380 thousand basic stations 5G were built throughout the country, and the infrastructure of mobile communications was created in all city settlements at the level of provincial and district centers.
