Number of national landscape parks Turkey will reach 19 by end of year

The number of national landscape parks “Forest of the Nation”, created since 2021 on the initiative of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will increase to 19

by the end of this year

The Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry of Turkey told Anadol that efforts to develop parks and forests of the country are continuing.

Residents of large cities, as a place of rest, prefer green zones both inside settlements and near them.

Given this trend, since 2003, a large -scale landscaping program has been implemented in the country, including inside the city line.

The head of the Turkish state promised to create “81 National Landscape Park” Forest of the Nation “in 81 provinces of the country.”

In this regard, territories for new forests were selected, and large green massifs were opened during last year: the National Forest of Ankara, the National Forest of the Bursa and the National Forest of Mardin Kasimiy. And in the current year, green massifs are planned to be created in Adan, Antalya, Artvin, Bidzhika, Chanackale, Eskishekhir, Guires, Rock, Burdura, Yalov, Istanbul, Karaman, Mercya, Muglet, Samsun and Trabzone.

By the end of 2025, the “forests of the nation” will appear in each of the 81 Turkish province. In such green areas there will be walking, running and bicycle paths, sports grounds, arbors, resting places and other objects erected as part of a modern vision.

The construction of forests will contribute to the employment of the population and the well -being of residents of the regions, increase the tourist attractiveness of the provinces.

Residents of large cities will have the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities.
