The number of those killed as a result of floods in the American state of Texas increased to 104 people.
The authorities reported the growth of the number of victims after strong rainfall that fell on the region on July 4. Search and rescue work continues, most deaths are recorded in the Kerr district, – the authorities noted.
In particular, 84 people died in this district, among them – 28 children.
The shows led to the spill of the Guadeloup River in the Kerr district, causing large -scale floods.
The Governor of Texas Greg Ebbott said on the social network X that all resources were mobilized to eliminate the consequences of the elements.
According to local authorities, about 50 thousand people are in the disaster zone, and rescue operations are still ongoing.
