The disaster occurred in the area of the city of Balaor. According to one version, the passenger train Bangalor – Calcutta partially left the rails after a collision with another passenger team. Some of the wagons were on the neighboring paths, and a speedy train “Koromandelsky Express”, which was from Calcutta in Chennai, crashed into them.
