The number of users of the Russian Max platform reached 55 million, and the average daily audience exceeded 22.1 million people. This was reported in the press service of the national messenger.
“The number of Max users reached 55 million. The average daily audience of the national messenger in November exceeded 22.1 million people. The record figure was recorded on November 6 – the daily coverage was 25.6 million users,” the message says.
It is noted that since the launch of the application, users have sent 4.4 billion messages, called more than 1 billion times and recorded 43 million video circles. In addition, more than 16 thousand authors have created their own channels.
In Russia, against the backdrop of security and anti-fraud measures, calls to WhatsApp and Telegram have been limited, while the recently launched MAX application has rapidly spread, and primarily in government institutions.
In addition, the national messenger Max has become a mandatory program for pre-installation on smartphones and tablets in the Russian Federation since September 1.
An application similar to WeChat in China, is based on the messenger developed by the Russian company VK.
Russia also lacks access to Western social platforms such as X, YouTube and Instagram.
