Number of victims of landslide gathering in Georgia increased to 20

Rescuers discovered the body of another person at the site of the landslide gathering at the Chuvi mountain resort.

This was reported by the Georgian media with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

Thus, the number of those killed as a result of a natural disaster reached 20.

According to the speaker of the Georgian parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, 33 people are considered missing.

The landslide in Shovi came up on the evening of August 3.

As a result, power lines, bridges and roads, as well as tourist cottages and a hotel were damaged as a result.

More than 200 people evacuated from the element zone.
