Number Of Victims Of Monsoon Showers In Pakistan Reached 111 People

Since the end of June, Mussonny rains have been continuing in Pakistan, which caused large -scale floods, the victims of which have already become at least 111 people. This was reported by the National Directorate for the Elimination of the Consequences of the Natural Disasters of Pakistan (NDMA).

According to the agency, the provinces of Haiber-Paktunhwi, East Penjab, Shind and Belujistan were most affected. Over the past 48 hours, as a result of pouring rains and the floods they called, another 7 people were killed, 12 were injured.

The total number of victims from June 26 to July 14 was 212 people.

NDMA warned that in the coming days the precipitation could intensify, and called the local authorities to maximum readiness for possible emergency situations.

Mussonon rains traditionally fall on Pakistan from July to September, annually taking the lives of hundreds of people and causing serious damage to infrastructure and agriculture.
