OIS will hold an emergency meeting on situation in Sudan

The organization of Islamic cooperation (OIS) intends to discuss recent events in Sudan during an emergency meeting on May 3. This is stated in the organization’s message.

The meeting will be held in the Saudi city of Jidd.

The meeting at the level of the OIS executive committee is called on the initiative of Saudi Arabia.

“The meeting reflects the attention of the Member States of the OIS to the current situation in Sudan and their efforts to restore security and stability in the region,” the OIS.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian news agency Mena reported the meeting of the permanent representatives of the member countries at the level of the OIS meeting at Cairo.
