Ombudsman about incident in imishly: This is contrary to our values

The incident with a 11-year-old girl in Imishli contradicts the national and moral values ​​of Azerbaijan, stated the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyev.

According to her, the whole society condemns this incident.

“We constantly monitor this situation. The relevant state bodies have taken serious measures. Our work is to strengthen educational work among the population,” Aliyev said.

Recall, a resident of the Iimish region S.D is accused of rape of his stepper, 11-year-old A.N (conditional name), as a result of which she became pregnant. The girl gave birth at the 31st week of pregnancy in the Republican Clinical Hospital, but the baby did not survive. The girl, her mother and brother put in the shelter of social services.
