President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held telephone consultations with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on December 6.
The head of state noted that he thanked Rutte for his words of support to the Ukrainian military. The parties exchanged assessments of the current diplomatic situation, discussing international efforts in the field of security and issues of further support for Ukraine.
Zelensky also informed the NATO Secretary General about the contacts of Ukrainian representatives in the United States with the team of President Donald Trump. Following the conversation, it was agreed to maintain further communication.
