On the oldest gold mine of Turkey, ovadzhik, owned by Koza Altın, 4,115 kg of gold were produced in 2021, writes Daily Sabah with reference to the Mine Serdar Volkan mine manager.

According to the Volkan, the results of gold mining at the mine in Izmir amounted to 145,000 ounces (4,115 kg) of gold. The mine brought 2.95 billion Turkish Lire to the Turkish economy ($ 250 million).
