OSCE parliamentary Assembly recognized Wagner PMC with terrorist organization

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) adopted a resolution on Tuesday, which was recognized by the Wagner PMC with a terrorist organization.

“The OSCE parliamentary Assembly determined that the actions of the Wagner PMC can be rightly characterized as terrorist in nature and intentions and that therefore the designation of the Wagner PMC as a terrorist organization by the national authorities is justified,” the document adopted by the results of PA meetings, which took place in Vancouver from June 30 to July 4.

The resolution calls on the countries of the organization “to use all internal and international tools, including intended to confront terrorism to counteract the harmful presence of Wagner PMC.

In addition, the document “encourages the OSCE countries to tighten international norms that will clearly define the Wagner PMC and its actions as terrorist.”
