As a result of the joint activities of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of the Interior and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, a particularly serious crime committed several years ago was disclosed.
As Haqqin.az said in the department, on the fact of detecting in July 2017 in a car that burned down under a bridge across the Hoodyalchay on the territory of the village of Kuppalghyshlar of the Gubinsky district, burnt corpses belonging to the inhabitants of the Khachmaz district Rakhman Ishigov (1984) and Ulvia Mamedova (Born in 1998), a criminal case was opened under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.
The proceedings were terminated in connection with the impossibility of establishing a person (person) who committed a crime. Suspended proceedings after a second study of the criminal case by the Investigative Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office was resumed.
After the resident of the Khachmaz district, 28-year-old Osman Omarov, on the night of July 6 to 7, 2017 met with Ulvia Mamedova and Rachman Ishigov in the village, where they lived, and in the course of them, he applied Ulvia Mammadovoi Stone-cutting wounds. The operatives established reasonable suspicions that Ulvia Mammadov and Rahman Ishigov were burned under the bridge through the Gudyalchi inside the car belonging to Ishigov, in order to create a picture of a traffic accident.
Based on the collected evidence, Osman Omarov was involved as the accused under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, the investigative and operational measures are currently ongoing in the case.
