In the first 4 months of 2023, more than 11 million foreigners visited Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey said.
The number of foreigners who arrived in Turkey in January-April reached 11 million 90 thousand 247 people.
The largest number of foreigners to Turkey profit from the Russian Federation – 1 million 153 thousand 341 people, which is 134.94 percent more than last year’s indicator.
Following the Germany – 966 thousand 336 and Bulgaria – 797 thousand 956 people.
In April, the number of foreigners who arrived in Turkey increased by 29.03 percent compared to last year’s indicator – up to 3 million 321 thousand 824 people.
