Pakistan And Afghanistan For Solving Problems Through Dialogue

Pakistan Interior Minister Muhsin Naqvi and Afghan Deputy Interior Minister Muhammad Ibrahim Sadr met in Tehran following recent clashes between the two countries and emphasized “solving problems through dialogue.”

Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan

After border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan, a 48-hour truce was announced on October 15, which was extended until the end of negotiations between the parties in the Qatari capital Doha with the support of Turkey and Qatar.

The main agenda of the negotiations was “extension of the current truce and resolution of recent border clashes,” and the parties reached an agreement.

After 14 hours of negotiations in Doha, It was decided to hold the first meeting of the technical committee, which will work on the details of the truce, in Istanbul.

According to Pakistani media, the delegations of Pakistan and Afghanistan held a meeting for this purpose in Istanbul on October 25.
