Pakistan Foreign Minister: future of dialogue with India depends on New Delhi

No changes in Pakistan’s relations with India are currently fixed. The fundamental position of Islamabad remains unchanged from the period of the August events of 2019 around Jammu and Kashmir. This was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Bhutto Zardari in an interview with Anadol in the city of Muzaffarabad, the capital of the territory “Azad Kashmir”.

The Minister recalled that contrary to UN resolutions in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian authorities in August 2019 unilaterally changed the points of the Constitution of the country and thereby tried to change the status of data of disputed territories.

He praised Beijing to refuse to participate in the above meeting G20. “China has shown respect for UN resolutions and international law,” the head of Pakistan’s diplomacy said.

He noted that in the matter of the fight against TTP and other bloody terrorist organizations, the Afghan authorities have no shortage of funds. “If the Afghan side will have a lack of political will, then there will be problems,” Zurdari warned.

Answering the question of the relationship of Islamabad and Ankara, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan said: “In my opinion, our connections are not just the relations of the two states, but the sincere bonds of the two fraternal peoples.”
