If India stops the fighting, then Pakistan is also ready to take such a step. This was said by the deputy prime minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Iskhak Gift in an interview with Geo TV channel.
The Minister announced the attacks of India for three airports in Pakistan and about the answer of the Pakistani army to them.
Commenting the calls of a number of countries, in particular the United States and China, the gift said that such initiatives increase the hope that Islamabad and New Delhi will be able to establish a dialogue to reduce tension.
“If they (India) will stop, we will also take such steps. We do not want destruction and empty waste of money. We want peace without hegemony of any country,” said the gift.
Speaking about a conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio this morning, the minister said that he had given him a message that “the ball is now on the side of India” on the issue of reducing tension between the two countries.
