Pakistan Prime Minister Shakhbaz Sharif on his Twitter expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the decision of the Azerbaijani side to release the rice imported from Pakistan from customs duty.
On November 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan decided to release rice imported from Pakistan from the duty. According to the decision, the rice imported from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will be exempted from the payment of import customs duty until December 31, 2027.
