Pakistani Taliban refused to extend cessation of fire with Pakistan

Motion “Tehrik-I-Taliban Pakistan” (“Taliban Movement of Pakistan”, TTP) refused to extend the cease-fire agreement with Pakistan, reports Dawn.com.

According to the information, the leadership of TTP accused the authorities in the non-fulfillment of agreements with the Taliban from six points and in the continuation of military operations against militants. “In such conditions, the extension of the ceasefire agreement is impossible,” said TTP.

Leader of Pakistan Taliban Mufti Nur Vali Makhsud in audio recordings called on militants to resume attacks on the Pakistani army after 12.00.

On November 8, official Islamabad and TTP agreed on the cease-fire for a period of one month. The agreement was achieved during negotiations with TTP, assistance in conducting the Taliban.
